Pink and Chocolate Birthday Celebration!
Last Saturday I hosted a get together in celebration on my sister's 30th and my mom's birthday (mom doesn't disclose her age [smile]) and I took a few pics. I did a pink and chocolate theme with hints of gold and the food was some what international.
I told all the guests first you can stop off in Guyana for some peas and rice and curry chicken, then go to America for fried and BBQ chicken, mac and cheese and corn and finally retire in Italy for some pasta, meatballs and homemade marinara sauce. I also had a mini DIY salad bar. For dessert I did ferrero rocher cupcakes, ice-cream and fruits.Oh for appetizers, how could i forget, i made fresh guacamole, pico de gallo and black bean and corn salsa, lemon pepper shrimp and dip and crostini topped with mozzarella, basil and tomatoes. The drink of the night was my special berry berry wine punch.
I also had handmade favors to top off the night.
I will post the tutorials for the favors, cupcakes, and punch. For now enjoy the video I put together.
